Christy Watson
OTR/L, PRPC, CMHIMP, UDN- Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner
Christy is a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner who earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi in 1995 and has practiced Occupation Therapy for almost 30 years. As a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner, she exclusively treats pelvic floor conditions an pelvic floor related disorders. She is excited to continue her practice at her beautiful new location in Spanish Village offering descreet access to her facility delivering excellent outcomes and unmatched care. Christy is an avid learner and is passionate about staying abreast of the most recent breakthroughs and treatments as we as furthering her skills in order to provide the best care possible. She has received training in Myofascial Release, Dry Needling, Integrative Medicine, Carniosacral Threapy, and Sensory Integration. These skill shave been integral in the holistic treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in women, men, and children.
Christy works closely with urologists, OBGYNs, gastroenterologists, family medicine doctors, midwives, doulas, and pain management physicians. Her passion lies in improving the quality of life of her clients while making meaningful connections to help them meet their goals. In the state of Mississippi, she is the first Occupational Therapist to hold the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace. Christy incorporates a multifaceted approach tailored to each patient's needs by utilizing her Occupational Therapy psychological training, implementing resilience training to best treat each individual patients in a holistic manner, enabling the patient to reach their desired goals and maximum level function. Christy is also a Certified Mental Health Medical Provided (CMHIMP), Dry Needling (UDN-C), and Dry Needling for Pelvic Floor. She has served as a Teaching Assistant for Herman and Wallace. For Christy, treating pelvic floor disorders is far more than a job, but rather a passion and joy to serve this unique patient population with empathy and compassion. Meghan Bush
COTA/L Pelvic Floor Therapist Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach
Meghan is a 2006 graduate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with an Associated Degree. She has been a practicing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 18 years. She specialized in pelvic floor therapy in 2017. Meghan has taken courses from Herman and Wallace enabling her to treat a multitude of pelvic floor dysfunctions. She consistently continues her growing her knowledge to better help her patients. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Pregnancy and Post Partum Coaching.
Meghan lives in Mooreville with her husband, Steven and 2 wonderful children. She can be found hunting, enjoying the pool, or chasing her kids at all of their activities.
Kathi Bushway
Kathi Bushway has been a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapy Practitioner (COTA/L) since 2020. She has been a teacher for over 30 years, including educating her four children and teaching fitness training classes. Kathi is also a fully certified Essentrics instructor with Advanced Therapeutic Techniques.
Kathi specializes in integrating the principles of occupational therapy, her expertise in the Essentrics technique, and her training in breathing to teach patients and clients how to connect the core and the pelvic floor in movement. She uses her passion for teaching through offering live classes at Resilience Pelvic Health and is a featured instructor on Essentrics’ streaming platform, Essentrics TV. Kathi continues her specialization in pelvic health through Herman and Wallace, The Functional Pelvis, and advanced master classes through Essentrics Academy.
Kathi lives in Shannon, Mississippi with her husband, Rob. They have four grown children and have recently welcomed their first grandchild. She enjoys movement, music, learning, personal styling and seasonal color analysis, and spending time with family and friends.
